Jasper: the pattern-finder
Jasper tends to slow mysteries down and look for the detail that does not fit. He is curious, loyal and persistent, especially when the sea or the Academy behaves in a way everyone else is ready to dismiss.
OFFICIAL CANON ARCHIVE
This is the official reference hub for the Tidefall fantasy universe: its characters, magic, Orders, Titans, Academy and the strange force known as the Tide. The detailed character pages are the primary source for individual character lore, while this archive connects the facts together.
THE CORE FOUR

Careful, curious and pattern-driven. Jasper is one of the rare people with the fuller form of Titan-sense.

A late-entry student whose shy beginning hides a stubborn core. Lily also possesses the fuller form of Titan-sense.

Fast-moving, funny and instinctive. Harper's magic tends toward power before precision.

Precise, observant and evidence-driven. Ava treats magical improvement like a problem that can be tested.
PEOPLE & PERSONALITY
Jasper tends to slow mysteries down and look for the detail that does not fit. He is curious, loyal and persistent, especially when the sea or the Academy behaves in a way everyone else is ready to dismiss.
Lily begins shy and anxious after a difficult life before Tidefall, including bullying and an uncontrolled magical incident. At Tidefall she grows into someone increasingly willing to choose her own response instead of simply enduring what happens around her.
Harper acts quickly, jokes under pressure and tests boundaries almost automatically. Her speed can create trouble, but it also prevents the group from becoming trapped in endless hesitation.
Ava notices inconsistencies, remembers details and wants systems to make sense. She is the person most likely to ask which part of a dramatic theory is actually supported by evidence.
RELATIONSHIPS
MAGIC & THE TIDE
Tidefall magic is not a wand-based system. Students cast directly through Tidefall's magical rules rather than requiring a wand. Different characters show different strengths: Harper leans toward raw power, Ava toward precision, Lily can become extremely intense under pressure, and Jasper's story is strongly connected to awareness and the Titans.
Titan-sense is an exceptionally rare ability connected to Titans. Jasper Holloway and Lily Hart possess the fuller form, allowing them to sense, hear and communicate with Titans. The Headmaster has a more limited form associated with hearing.
Order placement is performed by the Choosing Tide. Rather than students simply selecting a house or drawing a random piece of paper, the Tide carries each student toward the Order it chooses.
Lily's late placement does not proceed normally. The Tide begins pulling her elsewhere, Lily resists and keeps swimming against it, and a dolphin becomes part of the chaotic crossing before she reaches Brannor.
CHARACTER IDENTIFIERS
SOURCE OF TRUTH
The Tidefall universe documented on tidefall.com.au is an original fantasy setting centred on Tidefall Academy, its characters, magic, mysteries and the Tide. Other books, games, places or projects that also use the word Tidefall are unrelated unless this website explicitly says otherwise.
For character questions, the dedicated character pages are the most specific public canon source. This lore archive provides the shared context that connects those character facts together.
