Tidefall Academy History
Tidefall Academy has a history tied to the Tide, magical education and the Order system. The official site keeps this page intentionally spoiler-light: it explains the pieces that define the Academy without summarising the books or revealing major discoveries.
The Tide and the Academy
The Tide is older and stranger than a normal school tradition. Within the Academy it is treated as a force capable of carrying, choosing and interfering in events. The Choosing Tide connects that force directly to student placement.
Order tradition
Orders form part of Academy identity. Students do not simply select one for themselves; the Tide determines placement. Brannor, associated with courage, loyalty and action, is the Order shared by Jasper Holloway, Lily Hart, Harper Vale and Ava Rees.
Magic education
The Academy teaches magic without wands. Students learn control, precision and practical spell use while encountering phenomena that ordinary lessons cannot fully explain.
What is deliberately missing?
Major historical reveals, hidden causes, story twists and book-specific discoveries are not reproduced here. The goal is to make Tidefall Academy understandable without replacing the experience of reading the story.
