ACADEMY LIFE
Tidefall Academy Classes
Tidefall Academy education centres on learning to control magic, understand the Tide and act safely in an environment where water and magic do not always behave predictably.
What students learn
- Spell control: producing an intended magical effect without a wand.
- Precision: controlling strength, direction and timing rather than relying on raw power.
- Observation: noticing changes in magical environments and recognising when something is unusual.
- Practical response: deciding how and when to use magic rather than simply proving that a spell works.
- Field preparation: older students can take part in more demanding supervised activities outside ordinary classroom spaces.
Different learning styles
The core students illustrate different approaches. Harper tends toward power before precision, Ava improves by testing and refining technique, Jasper looks for patterns and Lily's magic can become intense under pressure. Those differences make training personal rather than identical for every student.
Do classes reveal the whole magic system?
No. The Academy teaches usable magic, but rare phenomena such as Titan-sense sit outside ordinary spell practice. The books explore more than a timetable alone could explain.
