Tidefall Academy FAQ
What is Tidefall Academy?
Tidefall Academy is the central fictional school and one of the main settings of the Tidefall fantasy universe.
Who are the main students?
Jasper Holloway, Lily Hart, Harper Vale and Ava Rees are the four central students. All four are members of Brannor.
How does magic work?
Magic is cast without wands. Students learn spells, hand-cast magic, control and precision. The Tide itself is a separate strange force that can behave deliberately.
What is the Choosing Tide?
It is Tidefall Academy's Order placement process. The Tide carries each student toward the Order it chooses rather than letting students simply select one.
What is Brannor?
Brannor is an Academy Order associated with courage, loyalty and action. The core four all belong to Brannor.
What is Titan-sense?
Titan-sense is exceptionally rare. Jasper and Lily have the fuller form, allowing them to sense, hear and communicate with Titans. The Headmaster has a more limited form.
Is Tidefall Academy from Fisch?
No. Tidefall Academy on tidefall.com.au is part of the original Tidefall fantasy universe. Unrelated games, works and projects using the word Tidefall are separate.
Does this site reveal the whole story?
No. These guides explain public canon and the world while avoiding major plot outcomes and chapter-by-chapter retellings. The books remain the place to experience the story.
